Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Workshop
You are invited to apply and participate in the advanced hands on biotechnology & molecular biology training to be held at the Kenya Institute of Primate Research (KIPRE), Karen-Nairobi, Kenya from 14th to 18th July, 2025 (1st week) and second week 20th-25th July 2025). The program will start at 8.30am daily with various presentations and discussions.
This workshop has been jointly organized by the Interuniversity Program in Molecular Biology (IPMB-Brussels, Belgium); the international alumni network and the Kenya Institute of Primate Research (KIPRE), Kenya. The IPMB is a prestigious program that has previously sponsored and trained over 30 post-graduate students from Kenya in biotechnology & molecular biology who currently occupy prominent positions and have been leaders both in Private and Government institutions and are key in driving the country’s agenda of improving quality of life through addressing food security, biopharmaceuticals and technology transfer. We are therefore honored to be the hosts of this event.
This training aims to create a platform for the alumni and other participants to discuss the current research trends, challenges and advances (including legislation) relating to biotechnology & molecular biology both locally and globally.
