Parkinson’s Disease Workshop: Providing clarity for continuous Teaching and research from an African Perspective.
The Institute of Primate Research (IPR) will assemble a congregation of neurologists, basic scientists, and environmental health practitioners interested in research in Parkinsonian disease (PD) in Africa. This forum, in the form of a school, will be addressed by established, well anchored and the best neurologists and neuroscientists from the East African region, the greater Africa, Europe, America, Asia, and our very best from Kenya. In this assembly, the seniors will reveal the existing gaps in research and the possible etiologies of this neurodegenerative movement disorder. In addition, mainstream national media houses will be invited to provide publicity for the event and public education.
